The Sounds Outback (…to Reef) Festival is a musical adventure, brought to you by Tura New Music. Located in the Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area, the festival runs from the 5th-9th of October 2012. It features performances from a selection of Australia’s finest musicians such as Etica Ensemble, Stephen Pigram, Defying Gravity, Jon Rose, Pundara Performance Group and Darren ‘Capes’ Capewell on the didgeridoo.
The festival brings forward the possibility to make a contribution to the social, cultural, educational and community aspects of those in regional centres and remote areas in the Gascoyne and Pilbara regions of WA.
