Terms and Conditions
Prices and Currency:
All prices referred to are in Australian Dollars and include GST (Government Goods & Services Tax). Conversions from overseas currencies provide you with attractive exchange rates.
Unless we have advised otherwise at time of confirmation of booking, the following conditions apply.
Deposit and final payment:
A non-refundable deposit is required on all tours to confirm the booking. The balances remaining are payable 6 weeks prior to departure. (Note: some reservations may require earlier payment to meet ticketing/payment deadlines.)
Cancellation Fees and/or Refunds:
No one likes cancellations and they are usually caused by unexpected circumstances. We recognize this and try to be as fair as possible.
Once full payment has been made, we reserve the right to charge cancellation or amendment fees of a minimum of $165 per person to cover our administration and book- keeping expenses. This fee is in addition to any charges made by Airlines, Hotels, Tour Operators and other suppliers and is inclusive of any deposit paid by you. Please note that the conditions for some services, particular airfares, may not permit any refund. If Motive Travel is obligated to cancel your travel arrangements for any reason, the liability of Motive Travel will be limited to a refund of all monies paid by you less any cancellation fees and subject to supplier Rules and conditions.
If you wish to cancel or amend any booking made you need to contact us in writing. You cannot cancel or amend a booking which is confirmed or paid for other than by contacting us.
Travel insurance purchased in your country of origin is highly recommended, however depending on the circumstances, please be aware that travel insurance, may or may not cover some or all of such costs.
Payment may be made either by credit card or direct deposit or wire (telegraphic) transfer. Wire transfer – you will need to instruct your bank to make your payment in Australian dollars to Motive Travel. Our bank account details will be provided on request.
You may pay via credit card – via a secure payment with E Path – we will send you a link via email and/or on your final invoice to pay deposit and/or balance. There is a 1.5% credit card surcharge for ALL credit cards. We accept- Master Card, Visa Card, American Express, Diners
