Dear Leith (July 09)
We just got back 6am this morning, and before heading off to lie down I wanted to let you know what a great time we had.
Perth was very cool and rainy but we had great pizza in Fremantle (it was pouring down!) The Mint was interesting and only 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
We had the perfect whale safari-really well organised and a delicious lunch-saw whales, dolphins with a baby, a sea snake, swam with a black manta ray. I really don’t swim much, but the girls on the boat really took care of me so I could enjoy being part of it. Thanks to Amber and Lucy at Coral Bay Adventures! One of the highlights, but then we must also mention the fresh goldband snapper and jumbo prawns that we bought at the Exmouth Fish Company and cooked at home in Exmouth; the snorkelling at gorgeous Turquoise Bay; watching the skies with Greg and seeing four of Jupiter’s moons; whole crispy reef fish at the Wharf in Broome, and just chilling out on Cable Beach.
Got some great jewellery at the market as well, and I was pleased to see some identical pieces in the airport shop for 50% more-what a bargain.
The Gibb River Road-what an experience. Most of the road works are complete as far as Windjana turn off-they’ve sealed more of the road. There are more roadworks on the highway from Fitzroy Crossing.
We loved Imintji, despite my daughter’s misgivings about tents, and of course Bell Gorge was just beautiful. My son climbed the waterfalls there and jumped off-loved it! worth the very steep hike in parts. About the only thing we missed out was Geikie Gorge as the boat trip timings didn’t fit in with our plans-and I’ve never driven so far between filling stations…
We all want to say a big thank you for organising it all and we have been singing your praises to everyone. It was a very different trip from last time and really showed another side of a great country.
Maybe in a few more years minus children-who knows where next?
Very best wishes and take care

Leith and staff at World Heritage Tours (Jul 09)
Our journey through the NT and WA from Darwin through Kakadu and the Kimberly to Broome was spectacular beyond belief and thanks to Leith and staff at World Heritage Tours who made this great adventure possible. They were amazingly organized, knew exactly how far we could comfortably travel in a day, how long it would take, and what wondrous things we could see and do.
Their recommendations were spot on from the best places to stay and eat, to what to see and do, and the best way to do it. They knew the sites, the tour operators, the accommodations, the restaurants, and above all the roads…how to get there and what the roads were like..no small thing for a self-drive in this part of the world.
There is simply no way that we could have covered so much distance and done so many wonderful things in such a short time without the assistance of World Heritage Tours. They literally took care of everything. Thank you for the journey of lifetime.

Dear Leith, (AUG 08 – Darwin to Perth self-drive 46 days)
We had a great trip, thanks to your organisation. As promised our personal reflections on our WA trip:
- The highlight for us was Kununurra and the Bungle Bungle tour. We would have liked to spend longer in El Questo!
- Broome very enjoyable and Seashells accommodation excellent.
- Karijini NP and Tom Price outstanding with differing perspectives of Australia. Wonderful gorges and scenery together with commercial mining on a grand scale.
- Exmouth and Coral Bay provided the interest of Cape Range NP and the snorkelling on Ningaloo Reef. Accommodation at Osprey Village and Ningaloo Reef Resort excellent.
Kalbarri and surrounding area is delightful. Not surprising the development taking place there.
- Lesueur NP and Cervantes outstanding.
- Fremantle and Perth we enjoyed very much. Sunset Suite accommodation excellent.
- Perth grew on us the more we explored it.
- We enjoyed Margaret River and found Tassell Park winery for super Sauvignon Blanc. Clairolt had sold all their Sauv. Blanc to Marks and Spencers in the UK!
- Albany we enjoyed and thought Whaleworld was outstanding. We found Nanarup a wild isolated spot with wonderful dunes, rock formations and turquoise seas. The Beach House at Bayside was excellent.
- As reported in my previous email the Esperance experience was spoilt by the wild weather but the 4 wheel drive was a thrilling experience and excellent.
- We enjoyed Wave Rock and the surrounding walks.
Hope the above is of interest. Our trip has created a lot of interest with our friends and I have now pruned my 700 photos to a level to sustain viewer interest.
Regards: John – UK.
Dear Leith,
I am now back home after great moments spent in your country!!!
Thank you very much for the Tour you organized. Everything was perfect: organization, transfers, services … and climate, atmosphere, landscapes etc!!!
I look forward to have to opportunity to come again and visit Western Australia, now!!
Best regards, Denis – USA
Hi Leith,
Back safe and sound. Just wanted to thank you for organising our superb holiday. Everything worked like clockwork, and we had a memorable time.
In case you didn’t know, the Pemberton Forest Lodge is apparently up for sale, and we felt that the place was a little tired as a result. It needs some money spent on it, and then it will be up to scratch. We felt it was the least impressive place we stayed, although that was mitigated against by the superb surroundings of the Karri forests.
Once again, many thanks, and I will have no hesitation in recommending you to friends and coleagues who may be thinking of a WA trip, or indeed, availing myself of your services again in the future. The stretch limo at Perth airport was a nice touch!
Best wishes, Mike – UK.
Hi Leith,
Just to let you know we enjoyed our holiday in WA. Thank you for arranging the accommodation, all were great. Your suggestions on what to do and see were also very helpful, particularly recommending the ” Wild Duck ” restaurant in Albany. The best meal out we have had for a long time.
Thank you once again.
Regards Irene and Paul – UK
Dear Leith,
Now that we are back home in the UK, we thought we should let you know that our Shark Bay trip was a most successful and that we enjoyed it immensely.
We remarked several times on how well you had chosen the options for us. Many thanks from us both and good luck with your future business.
Best regards, Frances and John – UK
Dear Leith,
We are back home and it’s absolutely freezing. It was very tempting to stay in Broome for another week ! Everything went well. The party in Hayman was extravagant and fabulous. Novotel in Exmouth really good as was accommodation in Broome. Karijini gorges were great and we ended up having our own guide for two days which I would thoroughly recommend.. Thanks again for all your help and advice and organising.
Kind regards
Bill and Fi – Sydney
Dear Leith,
Thanks for your email! More importantly, we wanted to thank you for making our trip hassle-free! We had a wonderful time in WA ¡V the weather perfect, the food delicious, and the service friendly. Overall, it was a very good holiday for the family.
Regards, Stephanie – Singapore
Dear Leith,
Just a short note to say thanks for organising our trip. Everything was perfect, but we got quite a shock (nice) when the stretch picked us up in Perth.
Charlie and I both had a lovely time. I didn’t complete my dive course as I found it a bit too scary but Charlie did. I just hired the car for an extra couple of days and went to the beach. Osprey Apartments were lovely and even the emu that came to visit us each day was a bit of a novelty. We actually got upgraded to a 3 bedroom.
Coral Bay the accommodation wasn’t quite as good, but the views were great and what about the sunset.
All in all we had a great time and it was nice to deal with someone who had actually been there and done that. My telstra mobile worked both in Exmouth and Coral Bay.
Once again, many thanks. Regards, Dawn & Charlie – Sydney, Australia.
Dear Leith
We are sorry we missed you but time ran out! We had an excellent holiday so many thanks to you for your organisation ,help and suggestions.
I will be recommending you to many friends and customers. Again many thanks.
Regards John & Mel – UK
PS we woke to a covering of snow this morning, but we can still remember the warmth of the sun in Perth.
Our Pilbara Trip Aug/Sep 09
Dear Leith…. just a few lines to let you know that we have so enjoyed our recent trip to the Pilbara.
Everything went so smoothly thanks to a perfectly organised itinerary. You had picked the right highlights for us… Cape Range National Park, Coral Bay and the stunning Karijini National Park. We snorkelled in Torquoise Bay, with the Mantarays in Coral Bay, spotted humpback whales, dolphins and turtles and<thoroughly enjoyed the gorges and starry nights in Karijini.Thank you once again for all your help…. it has been a fantastic holiday!
Henning & Rita Wulf
Leith,
We have returned (and just about recovered) from the visit to WA. I would just like to thank you for all the effort you put in to make the holiday so enjoyable. All the arrangements worked a treat and allowed us to concentrate on enjoying all Australia had to offer.
Although we packed a lot in over the three weeks (snorkelling, scuba, quad treks, whale watching and loads more) it was also a restful three weeks. Even the long journeys between Perth, Albany and Margaret River weren’t that bad (apart from a few missed signposts on the way to Margaret River) we’d no trouble. Accommodation was excellent; highly recommend the places you picked.
If you want a recommendation from a (very) satisfied customer let me know, I’d be glad to add one.
Thanks again, George – UK
Hi Leith
First I thank you for your wonderful arrangements for our travel from Apr/May Broome to Alice springs, we enjoyed at every location. I and My wife appreciated your professional advice and bookings, once again we say thank you.
I would like to ask a favor of you that when we were Alice Springs we visited Desert Part as you recommended and saw beautiful Thorny Dragon that were wonderful wild life and I found lovely figure of Thorny Dragon made by pewter that was very small, approx 3cm but I missed to buy it and could not find at further locations, Brisbane and east coast …
If you have a opportunity to get it and can send me those account could be settled by VISA transaction as before, I am more than happy, price is, so far I remember around A$10?…
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards
Yuzo – Japan
NB – We were able to organize purchase of the Thorny Dragon and send off to Japan!
Dear Leith,
Am still recovering from jet-lag but wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip and to thank you very much for all the arrangements and recommendations you made. To be honest we didn’t do everything you suggested but more importantly all that we did do, including restaurants, we found to be excellent.
The Observatory Resort (ex Karri Mia) was excellent and we raved about the room, the view and the location. The B&B by the sea at Esperance was also most enjoyable and Heather is a most concerned and charming hostess – we wish that the room had an en-suite bathroom rather than separate, albeit round the corner, washing facility – but that is a detail.
We fell in love with Esperance! And cannot tell you how much we enjoyed Mark’s Eco Discovery excursion to Cape Arid – a truly memorable and wonderful experience.
Sydney was as captivating as ever and we had excellent weather which made it all the more agreeable.
Have relatives who are planning to visit Oz from the UK late this year or early next and I shall not hesitate to give them your name.
With renewed thanks,
Kind regards, Gordon & Marion – UK
Dear Leith,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Your arrangements for our trip were superb – there’s nothing we could fault and were particularly impressed by the Red Top car hire people (and the car itself). As far as Monkey Mia goes, It was a memorable trip. We very much enjoyed our time in WA and would not hesitate to recommend your agency to our friends.
Thanks again for everything.
Kind regards, Stephanie & family – Hong Kong
Hi Leith,
Thanks very much for sorting out the car issue. As for Karijini originally wasn’t too sure on the idea of a couple of heathen sailors going to a national park for a few days but in the end thought it was excellent, had a great time scrambling around the gorges and then going for a dip, to say it was refreshing is a bit of an understatement!!
Thanks for all the hard work that you had to put in to keep everything ticking along fine, would have no hesitations in recommending you to anybody else interested in a similar sort of holiday.
Regards
Andy & John – UK
Dear Leith,
Thankyou for a memorable trip. Everybody had a good time in Perth. It took us a week to recover from the trip. Will recommend your tour company to family and friends.
Best Regards from Navrat and family – Thailand
Hello Leith,
We are back from Australia and I wish you a happy new year. Here is some feed back from our trip:
We are very pleased with our trip and everything went fine. Despite the cold weather, we enjoyed so much the fact that there were very little people around and that it was so clean. You live in a marvellous country.
Transport: Toyota Commuter was really appropriate and everything went fine. Sufficient room for both luggages and passengers.
Welcome by your driver and transfer to the rental Company were very much appreciated.
The accommodation we preferred by far was in Denmark. Not only because it was really fitting my family’s requirement but also because the owner was really friendly.
Finally, thanks a lot for all the preparation and all your advices and suggestions all along the route. Thanks to your guidance the trip was really interesting and contained a lot of variety. On the way back my kids were telling me that it was their preferred holidays so far, and as you originated this success I wanted to share their words with you.
Best regards, Sylvain – France
Hello Leith,
I just wanted to let you know that my friends, the Rigonis, have returned from Monkey Mia and they loved it.
They were impressed with their accommodation, flight etc. and the way everything was presented, vouchers etc.
Thank you for making part of their holiday something to remember.
Regards, Sue – Perth
