The whale shark that was recently adopted by Tourism WA has finally been given a name! ‘Boo Boo’ was named in honour of a 15 year old Perth boy who passed away 6 months ago due to a brain tumour. Trent D’Silva was granted his wish to swim with the whale sharks last year shortly after being diagnosed with the tumour. ‘Boo Boo’ was the nickname his sister gave him.
