A recent survey has shown that Australian hotel guests are more likely to steal items from their room then New Zealanders. The results came from the 2013 Amenities Survey through Hotel.com. It showed that 35% of global travelers depart hotel rooms with more property then when they check in. Along with this, 72% of Aussies stole a magazine or book from their rooms, whilst New Zealanders made up 73% admitting to stealing room items. The most common items taken by travelers from the 29 nations surveyed were magazines, books, linen and towels, whilst Chinese travelers admitted to stealing items such as lamps, clocks and artwork!
