DAY 01: Brisbane to Maryvale (178 km)
Collect your vehicle today and discover Queensland’s High Country by heading west along the Ipswich Motorway. Pass Ipswich and head south along the Cunningham Highway through towns Willowbank and Warril View before reaching Maryvale.
DAY 02: Maryvale to Stanthorpe (120 km)
Today you will discover Queensland’s premier food and wine region. Follow the Granite Belt Strange Bird wine trail, sample cider and apple pie at Suttons Apple Farm or visit Stanthorpe Cheese for hand-made famous cheese.
DAY 03: Stanthorpe to Gold Coast (246 km)
Travel east today toward the coast, but before the journey, enjoy a bushwalk through the spectacular Queen Mary Falls Circuit. Travel the picturesque roads of the Scenic Rim as you roam from the rainforest back to the coast.
DAY 04: Gold Coast
Today is at your leisure; why not scour the shops of Cavill Avenue before heading to the world famous Surfers Paradise Beach for a swim and relax in the sun. With plenty of bars and restaurants lining the streets, you won’t be short of dinner options.
DAY 05: Gold Coast to Brisbane (100 km)
Today you are travelling on the Pacific Motorway towards Queensland’s capital city, Brisbane. Why not make it a morning trip and leave time to view the Queensland Museum, visit the many stores and boutiques in Queen Street Mall or stroll along South Bank and explore the markets (Friday Nights 5pm-10pm, Saturday 11am-5pm, Sunday 9am-5pm).
Your car is booked until tomorrow and should be dropped off at the city or airport, by the same time as it was picked up on Day 1, to avoid any additional charges.
