DAY 01: Alice Springs
Collect your car this morning and spend a full day exploring Alice Springs! Visit the Royal Flying Doctor Base, School of the Air, and the Old Telegraph Station. (Entry costs not included). Finish the day by taking a drive up Anzac Hill for panoramic views over the city at sunset.

DAY 02: Alice Springs to Glen Helen (132 km)
Depart Alice Springs this morning, head west and follow the spectacular MacDonnell Ranges. Along the way visit Simpson’s Gap, Standley Chasm, Ellery Creek Gorge and Serpentine Gorge. Marvel at the stunning vistas on this colourful drive. Near Glen Helen visit Ormiston Gorge and Glen Helen Gorge.

DAY 03: Glen Helen to Kings Canyon (234 km)
Depart Glen Helen this morning for some real outback four wheel driving! Travel the Mereenie Loop Road through the Gardiner Range and over Walker Creek. You will arrive into Watarrka National Park from the northern entrance. The Canyon is an aweinspiring sandstone chasm descending hundreds of feet below the sun-parched landscape.

DAY 04: Kings Canyon to Uluru (321 km)
Early morning is the best time of day for the Kings Canyon Rim Walk, so make an early start if you wish to do this walk. Depart Kings Canyon, travelling back along the Luritja Road to the Lasseter Highway. Turn right here and travel to Uluru. The Uluru Resort is at Yulara, situated on the outskirts of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. This afternoon we suggest a tour out to the Rock and/or Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Drive slowly around Uluru before heading to “The Strip” to see the famous Uluru sunset.

DAY 05: Uluru
Uluru is the world’s greatest monolith. The Rock rises 348 metres above a sandy plain covered in desert oak and spinifex. It’s believed that two-thirds of the Rock lies beneath the sand. The colours of the Rock change with sunrise, sunset and the hours of the day. Today is yours to explore all that this stunning area has to offer.

DAY 06: Uluru
Drop your car off at the airport today by the same time as it was picked up on Day 1 to avoid any additional charges.
