Telecommunication companies that offer international roaming services will be required to provide more information on the costs of the services. This comes after new standards implemented by the Federal Government were released. The program aims at increasing the information available to users about their billing for global roaming and to avoid the shock of returning from a holiday, with a bill higher than the costs of the holiday itself! Information will be in the form of SMS alerts, opt-out arrangements and information to limit the amount you have to pay.
