Yallingup

“Escape to the Cape” is a popular expression used by young and the not so young surfers from around the world who flock to Yallingup for the international surfing competitions held in the spectacular waves that roll in from the Indian Ocean.

The Cape Naturalist region of the state offers the most comprehensive selection of guest houses to satisfy the taste and budget of every traveller and the winery district is only a short drive away.

Yallingup Cave is one of the most spectacular underground caverns in the world and visitors can explore the caves on their own or take a guided tour which lasts about 2 hours.
There are many delightful walks throughout the Leeuwin-Naturalist national park so allow time to take in the spectacular coastal scenery.
Yallingup’s busy seaside community plays host to the Malibu Surf Classic (December) and legendary Sunday sessions at the nearby historic Caves House. A broad range of hotels and motels, bed and breakfasts, guest houses, self contained and caravan park style accommodation is available. A minimum of 3 nights is recommended to truly appreciate all that is on offer in the Capes region. Advance bookings are highly recommended, particularly for school holidays and long weekends (minimum stays may apply nights during holiday periods).
