Nannup

285km south of Perth is the small timber town of Nannup, now a popular spot for visitors who enjoy all things natural. At the rear of the town’s tourist bureau is the Blackwood Billabong Bird Hide where visitors can see the colourful forest parrots being fed each morning at 9:00am.

The Blackwood River is perfect for canoeing, wild in winter and spring and gentle in summer. Beautiful walk trails meander along the river and through the forest.
