Kalbarri
The popular coastal holiday resort town of Kalbarri is a days drive (585) km. North of Perth and 66 Km. West off the North West Coastal Highway and a popular stopover for visitors on their way to or from Monkey Mia and the Shark Bay World Heritage region.
Located at the mouth of the Murchison River the town is surrounded by the 186,000-hectare Kalbarri National Park, which is home to over 800 varieties of flowering plants and shrubs together with some of the states most spectacular river and ocean gorge country.
