DAY 01: Perth
Pick up car rental. Visit Perth’s iconic Kings Park, Bell Tower and Elizabeth Quay. Late evening, visit Heirisson Island, so see the kangaroos in their natural habitat- best time is in the evening as the come out to eat.
DAY 02: Perth
Suggest a day trip to the Swan Valley. First travel to Caversham Wildlife Park where you can touch and feed the kangaroos as well as take a photo for free with koalas. Later you may wish to travel to Lancaster, Sandalford & Ambrook for wine tasting. Travel up West Swan Road to the Margaret River Chocolate Company- a great place to stop and grab some chocolate samples.
DAY 03: Perth
Suggest a day trip to Hillary’s Boat Harbour, further up the coast. Take West Coast Hwy/West Coast Dr. First, visit the Aquarium of Western Australia and explore 12,000km of Western Australia’s coastline in just a few hundred meters. After your visit, wander through many restaurants and cafes for your lunch, if you like fine dining; suggest to go at the Breakwater restaurant, located over the water, The Breakwater is the proud winner of few prestigious awards.
DAY 04: Perth
Take a day trip to Fremantle. Fremantle or ‘Freo’ has been described as the best-preserved Colonial port city in the world. Suggest a walking tour of Fremantle visiting the Maritime museum, the Roundhouse, the Old Fremantle Prison and perhaps dinner at one of the hundreds of eateries including open to the air side-walk cafes and waterfront seafood restaurants. Have a coffee along the famous Cappuccino Strip or have a leisure drink at Sailor Anchor located near Fremantle Markets (only open on weekends). Drop off car rental.
