Close to the regional center on Bunbury, Mornington is an area of beautiful scenery and intense dairy and beef cattle farming. A quiet rural town that offer lots of bush walks around the countryside and rolling hills. Bordered by the Darling Ranges, there is abundant wildflowers during the season.
Mornington is evergreen, due to the surrounding pastures being watered by irrigation channels that run through the town and surrounds. There are a number of B&B and farm homestays in the area, so if you want seclusion and quiet country living, then Mornington is the place.
