Another of Western Australia’s purpose built mining towns PARABURDOO is home to the workers employed at the Hamersley Iron Ore mine and their families, a modern town with every amenity Paraburdoo is also the Gateway to the spectacular KARIJINI national Park.
Free mine tours are conducted each Thursday departing town at 12.30 PM.
Paraburdoo is on the popular route to the Karijini via the North West Coastal Highway and is included in many of our self-drive tour suggestions.
